Hospital/Facilities

Having been situated in the Rye Street premises for over a century, the practice underwent a drastic modernisation programme in 1985 in order to achieve the status of a registered Veterinary Hospital. This title is controlled by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; in order to achieve Hospital status a veterinary practice must pass a very stringent examination by the Royal College. A Hospital must be very well equipped to provide an extremely high standard of veterinary care for its patients. Currently our practice is the only Veterinary Hospital in the local area. In fact of roughly 2,300 veterinary practices in the UK less than 130 are registered Veterinary Hospitals.

One of the facilities we consider most important is

Resident 24 hour nursing staff

If your pet needs to be hospitalised you can be reassured that staff are on site 24 hours.
